Nicknamed after the Royal Coat of Arms and affectionately dubbed “Union Jack”. This mechanical marval has been knignted as a soldier in His Majesty's Armed Forces.
Originally, The Royal Arms was being built as a military vehicle during the reign of Queen Elizabeth II and was considered on "indefinite hiatus" as technology advanced. As technology become available, the Monarchy (in conjunction with Parliament and the British Army) was adamant that only the best be used when commissioning something with a Royal title. Considered to be one of the most expensive mechs ever created, The Royal Arms is more sleek and compact compared to competing models. Made with real gold inlaid throughout, The Royal Arms is outfitted with two of the sharpest and strongest sabers known to man, capable of charging up electricity and releasing it with each pass. The shoulders contain energy storage banks so efficient this mech could run almost infinitely without needing to be charged. The back is outfitted with two turboguns able to blast through solid steel like paper.
Piloted by no less than a Field Marshal of the Royal Army, the British Government is, possibly as expected, very ceremonial and traditional in that only the highest rank is allowed to control such a dangerous and expensive piece of technology. Several pilots have been in control of the Royal Arms to date, with current pilot being FM Mason Greene, a tall, stoic, gray haired no-nonsense individual with one of the most decorated military records in recent history.
